Robert L Campbell was born in Chicago, Illinois and has been living in  Atlanta since 1986.

Campbell was first taught photography when he was a young man by his father who is a professional photographer. He joined the Marine Corp in November 1982 to November 1988. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, his interest was to become a Carpenter.

Even though he was enjoying being a carpenter, he missed the military. In May 1992, Campbell joined the Army Reserve.

 

After being called from the Army to go to war, Campbell received an Honorable Discharged with 40% disability. He has a total of 27 years and 7 days combined of miliary service. 

 

Campbell graduated from Atlanta Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science in Photography. His father was proud and bought him his first camera. Campbell has entered his photography in gallery shows, has taken photos for events, family portraits, and wedding.
